TGM StatBox — Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “Terms”) shall govern the use of the TGM StatBox Services, as defined below.
TGM operates TGM StatBox, an online platform that provides access to data charts, visualizations, topic packs, country reports, and related research content derived from TGM’s market and opinion research.
TGM and its affiliates (hereinafter “TGM”, “us”, “our” or “we”) offer a service (the “Service”) that allows users (hereinafter “you” or “User”) to register an account, browse, preview, purchase, and download data charts and other research materials (the “Content”) made available via the Service at tgmstatbox.com.
The Service is made available to you under the Terms by TGM Research PTE. LTD.

TGM provides the Service subject to the Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, you may not register a User account, use the Service, nor access or consume any Content provided via the Service.
1. Service
1.1. The Service allows the User to browse the TGM StatBox catalogue, preview Content, and purchase individual charts, credit packs, topic packs, country reports, or any other Content made available by TGM from time to time.
1.2. To purchase or download paid Content, the User must register a TGM StatBox user account. Certain Content (e.g. selected free charts) may be made available for preview without registration, subject to the conditions described on the Service.
1.3. By registering an account, the User confirms that the information provided (including name, email address, and where applicable billing details) is true, accurate, and current, and undertakes to keep it up to date. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account.
1.4. Prices for Content are displayed on the Service in U.S. Dollars (USD), unless otherwise indicated, and will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Prices may change from time to time; the price applicable to an order is the price displayed at the time the order is placed.
1.5. The price of Content does not include any applicable taxes, duties, or third-party payment processing fees, which will be added at checkout where applicable. There is no separate physical delivery charge: Content is delivered exclusively in digital form, e.g. made available for download from the User’s account, or sent to the email address associated with the order.
1.6. Credits. TGM StatBox may offer the option to purchase Content using credits (the “Credits”). Each Credit entitles the User to download one (1) chart of equivalent value, unless otherwise specified. Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be exchanged for cash. Unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase or in a specific promotion, Credits do not expire and remain available in the User’s account wallet.
1.7. Free credits and promotional Credits. TGM may issue promotional or free Credits (e.g. as a sign-up bonus, referral reward, or part of a campaign). Promotional Credits may be subject to specific terms, including expiry dates, eligibility conditions, or usage limits, which will be communicated at the time of issuance. Promotional Credits cannot be exchanged for cash and have no resale value.
1.8. Bundles, topic packs, and reports. TGM may offer Content in bundles, topic packs, country reports, or similar grouped formats. Unless otherwise stated, the conditions in these Terms applicable to a single chart apply equally to each chart contained in such bundle or pack.
1.9. Order confirmation. Confirmation of the order by TGM is a condition for its processing. The confirmation contains information that the order has been accepted and that payment has been completed. After successful payment, the purchased Content (or Credits) is added to the User’s account.
1.10. Order issues. If an order is not confirmed, or if the User experiences any issues accessing purchased Content, TGM should be notified via the contact email displayed on the Service.
1.11. It is recommended that the Content be downloaded and checked immediately upon purchase or notice of availability.
1.12. Availability period. TGM undertakes to make purchased Content available for download from the User’s account for a period of no less than twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. After this period, TGM reserves the right to remove the Content from the User’s library where required (for example, where underlying data has been retired or where Content has been replaced by an updated version), in which case the User will be notified in advance where reasonably practicable. The User remains entitled to use any Content already downloaded in accordance with these Terms.
1.13. Receipt of purchase. Each User receives a corresponding receipt, invoice, or purchase confirmation from TGM as proof of purchase.
1.14. Order changes. After payment for an order, it is not possible to change the order. Only orders that have not yet been completed (i.e., where Content has not yet been delivered or downloaded and where Credits have not been consumed) may be cancelled, by sending a cancellation declaration to TGM via the contact details provided on the Service.
1.15. Right of withdrawal — digital content. Because the Content consists of digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, by completing a purchase the User expressly consents to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledges that they thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal that may otherwise apply to digital content under the laws of their country of residence, to the extent such waiver is permitted by applicable law. Refunds outside of this rule are governed by Section 6 below.
1.16. Payment methods. TGM offers a variety of payment methods for ordered Content, which may include credit card payment, bank transfer, or other payment methods made available on the Service from time to time. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, who will process the User’s payment information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
1.17. Subscription services. Where TGM offers any subscription-based access (whether as a paid subscription, a “Pro” tier, or otherwise), the specific terms of that subscription, including billing cycle, renewal, and cancellation conditions, will be presented at the point of subscription and will form part of these Terms in respect of that subscription.
1.18. Account closure. The User may close their account at any time by contacting TGM. Closure of an account does not entitle the User to a refund of any unused Credits or unused Content access, save where required by applicable consumer protection law.
2. Limited warranty
2.1. TGM represents and warrants that it has the right and authority to make the Service and Content available as described in these Terms.
2.2. Users agree that use of the Service is at the User’s risk. Except as otherwise provided in section 2.1, the Service and Content are provided “as is” and “as available”, and TGM makes no warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to the Service and Content, including but not limited to non-infringement, title, accuracy of statistical data, suitability for any particular research, commercial, or analytical purpose, or fitness for a particular purpose or use.
2.3. The User is responsible for all of his/her use of the Service and the Content, including any decisions, conclusions, or analyses drawn from the Content.
2.4. Users are required to provide truthful and accurate information during registration and ordering, including but not limited to correct invoice and payment information, correct contact information (email, telephone, etc.), confirmation of payment arrangements, and confirmation of the Terms.
2.5. TGM is not responsible for the actions of the User, including the data provided by the User or the use the User makes of any Content.
2.6. Additionally, TGM is not responsible for a temporary or permanent loss of Service or access to Content resulting from a change in the User’s email address, account credentials, or contact information, intentionally or unintentionally, which has not been communicated to TGM in accordance with these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1. The Service and the Content are the property of TGM and/or its licensors.
3.2. All trademarks, service marks, trade names, domain names, patents, inventions, trade secrets, copyrights, database rights and all other intellectual or industrial proprietary rights (including know-how) in the Service or the Content are owned by TGM or its licensors, or any companies affiliated to TGM or its licensors.
3.3. No element of the Service or the Content may be used or exploited in any way other than as part of the Service offered to User and to the extent expressly permitted under the Terms or with the prior written consent of TGM.
3.4. TGM does not transfer any rights (including intellectual property rights) or title to the Service or any part thereof to the User, nor does TGM transfer any such rights or title to the Content or any portion thereof. TGM grants the User a license to use Content under the conditions set out in these Terms.
3.5. Unless otherwise indicated, nothing shall be construed as TGM granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right of use of any trademark displayed on or within the Service or the Content.
3.6. License granted to Users. Subject to full payment for the relevant Content and continued compliance with these Terms, Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide, perpetual (subject to Section 3.10) license to use purchased Content as follows:
- The right to use Content for internal research, analysis, and reference purposes;
- The right to incorporate Content into the User’s own analyses, presentations, pitch decks, reports, business documents, internal training materials, theses, and other similar work product, including printing and archiving for such purposes;
- The right to publish individual charts as visual elements within editorial articles, blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, podcasts, videos, and similar communications, provided that each instance of published Content includes a clear and visible attribution to TGM StatBox in the form: “Source: TGM StatBox” (or such other attribution form as TGM may communicate from time to time);
- The right to use Content within client-facing deliverables produced in the course of the User’s professional work (for example, consulting reports, agency presentations, or strategy documents prepared for a client), provided the Content is used as a supporting element within a larger deliverable and is not the primary commercial offering of that deliverable;
- The right to email, download, or print Content using the commands of the Service, including the right to create printouts of Content accessed or downloaded by any other lawful means.
3.7. Restrictions. The following uses are strictly prohibited unless TGM has given prior written consent or has issued an extended or enterprise license that explicitly permits them:
- Reselling, sublicensing, redistributing, or otherwise making the Content available to third parties as a standalone product or as part of a competing data, statistics, charting, or research product;
- Using the Content to create, train, or fine-tune any machine learning model, large language model, or other artificial intelligence system, or making the Content available for such purposes;
- Systematically downloading, scraping, copying, or extracting Content from the Service whether through automated means or otherwise;
- Removing, altering, or obscuring any TGM watermark, logo, attribution, source citation, or copyright notice from the Content;
- Using the Content in any manner that could imply that TGM or any of its researchers endorses any product, service, organization, political position, or claim;
- Using the Content for any unlawful purpose, or in any manner that infringes the rights of any third party.
3.8. Free Content. Where Content is made available free of charge (for example, watermarked previews or charts marked as “free”), the license granted is limited to non-commercial, personal, educational, or editorial use with mandatory attribution to TGM StatBox. The restrictions in section 3.7 apply equally to free Content. Free Content may not be used in paid client deliverables, paid advertising, or any commercial product without an applicable paid license.
3.9. Extended and enterprise licenses. Where a User requires usage rights beyond the scope of section 3.6 (for example, redistribution rights, white-label use, or use in a commercial product), the User must contact TGM to obtain a separate written license. Additional fees may apply.
3.10. License termination. Any license granted under this Section 3 terminates automatically and immediately upon any breach of these Terms by the User. Upon termination, the User must cease all use of the Content and, where reasonably practicable, delete copies in their possession. Use of Content already incorporated in good faith into published deliverables prior to termination need not be retroactively withdrawn, provided such use complied with these Terms at the time of incorporation.
3.11. The User may not use Content or link to TGM any site, materials, or other content containing inappropriate, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or unlawful topics, names, material, or information that violates any applicable intellectual property, proprietary, privacy, or publicity rights.
4. Limitation of liability
4.1. TGM shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting in any way from:
- any errors in or omissions from the Service or any Content;
- the unavailability or interruption of the Service or any features thereof or any Content;
- the loss or corruption of any data or equipment in connection with the Service;
- any delay or failure in performance beyond the reasonable control of TGM;
- any decision, conclusion, or analysis made by the User in reliance on the Content;
- any content retrieved from the Internet even if retrieved or linked to from within the Service.
4.2. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, and under no circumstances will the total aggregate liability of TGM and its affiliates in connection with any claim arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use the Service or Content exceed the lesser of the User’s actual direct damages or the amount paid by the User to TGM in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
4.3. In the event of a breach of the warranty contained in Section 2, TGM shall, at its sole discretion and expense, defend or settle any action and indemnify the User for any proceedings or damages of any kind or description based on a third party’s claim of patent, trademark, service mark, copyright, or trade secret infringement in connection with the User’s use of the Service or Content brought against the User by such third party, provided that:
- all use of the Service and Content was in accordance with these Terms;
- the claim, cause of action, or infringement was not caused by the User;
- the User gives TGM prompt notice of any such claim;
- the User gives TGM the sole right to control and direct the investigation, defence, and settlement of each such claim.
4.4. The User agrees, at its own expense, to indemnify, defend, and hold TGM harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, arising out of or in connection with the Service, or any links on the Service, including, but not limited to:
- violation of these Terms;
- any claim that any use of the Content by the User infringes any intellectual property right of any third party, or any right of privacy or publicity;
- any deletions, additions, insertions, or any unauthorised use of the Service or Content by the User.
5. Miscellaneous
5.1. TGM may, at its own discretion, make changes to these Terms.
5.2. When TGM makes changes to the Terms that materially and negatively affect the User’s use of the Service, this will be communicated to the User, e.g. by sending an email to the email address associated with the User’s account, by text message, or by a notification via the Service.
5.3. These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, excluding its conflict of laws principles. However, the Terms will not limit any consumer protection rights that the User may be entitled to under the mandatory laws of the User’s country of residence if in conflict with the above.
5.4. Upon a breach of these Terms by the User, TGM may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the User’s account and discontinue providing access to the Service to the breaching party without notice, in addition to pursuing any other legal remedies available to TGM. Suspension or termination for breach does not entitle the User to a refund of unused Credits or paid Content.
5.5. TGM’s ability to provide Content is regulated by a variety of privacy, data protection, and other laws in various jurisdictions and by the licenses under which TGM obtains source data.
5.6. TGM may perform periodic reviews of Users’ use of Content subject to data laws or licenses in order to comply with data laws and license restrictions.
5.7. These Terms will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable to any extent, then:
- such provision will be interpreted, construed, and reformed to the extent reasonably required to render it valid, enforceable, and consistent with its original intent; and
- such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect any other provision of these Terms.
5.8. The Controller of Users’ personal data is TGM. TGM’s processing of personal data is further described in TGM’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5.9. The data collected may be processed to:
- conclude or perform the Terms;
- fulfil orders placed or provide other services, including marketing services, by electronic means (including the dispatch of subscribed content), if the User has consented to the provision of such a service;
- manage and authenticate the User’s account;
- fulfil legal obligations — if any;
- establish, investigate, or defend possible claims by TGM;
- archive (evidential) in pursuit of TGM’s legitimate interest in preserving information in the event of a legal need to prove facts.
5.10. The data may be shared with TGM employees or entities acting on behalf of TGM (service providers supporting TGM in its operations, including hosting, analytics, payment processing, and email delivery providers) and entities whose right to access the data is based on the law.
5.11. Data will be processed until:
- the fulfilment of the order;
- the period indicated by law; or
- the expiry of any claims related to the order or the User’s account.
5.12. The User has rights in relation to the processing:
- to access the data, to request rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing;
- to object or withdraw consent to the processing insofar as the processing is based on a legitimate interest or the User’s consent;
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
5.13. To exercise the above rights, please contact TGM using the contact details provided on the Service.
6. Complaints and refunds
6.1. In the event of any order or Content problems, please contact TGM via the support email displayed on the Service.
6.2. In the complaint, the User should provide their identification details (name, email address associated with the account, and order reference where applicable) and a description of the problem.
6.3. Complaints will be processed no longer than fourteen (14) days after receipt.
6.4. Refund policy. Because Content is digital and delivered immediately, all sales are final and refunds are not generally available once Content has been downloaded. However, TGM will provide a refund or, at TGM’s discretion, a Credit replacement of equivalent value in the following circumstances:
- the Content is materially different from its description on the Service;
- the Content is corrupted, incomplete, or unusable due to a technical fault on the Service that TGM is unable to resolve within a reasonable period;
- the User was charged in error (for example, duplicate billing for the same item);
- any other circumstance where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law.
6.5. Refund requests under section 6.4 must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of the relevant purchase, together with sufficient information for TGM to investigate the issue. TGM reserves the right to decline refund requests that fall outside the scope of section 6.4, that are submitted in bad faith, or where there is evidence that the Content has already been used in a deliverable, publication, or other work product.
6.6. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, within a reasonable period after approval.
